Photography Ideas, a running tab...

Hi all. If you have been linked to this page and are interested in hiring me, collaborating with me, or inviting me to a meeting about doing either of those together, then please read this article! The very bottom has links/contact information. 

This article will have some brief, or extended ideas that I would absolutely love to help create with you! Think of these as starting points. Think of this as a list of things that I am willing to do, be hired for, or otherwise participate in the creation of. 

Let's get started, shall we? 

Written as of 2/2/'15 I have these ideas:

-Series of photography: Photos on my Worst Days - essentially capturing the ugly, the smelly, the rough and 'bad' of living human. Examples: dirty, bruised, smudged, hard work, fatiqued, angry, sad. The goal is to capture all of this as candidly as possible. I will actually wear myself out, I will actually get dirty, I may actually smell bad. The underlying message here is that beauty is purely subjective, and that some individuals will find these depictions of a person under stress, beautiful. 

-80's Fashion, makeup. Maybe a group shoot. I'm thinking wild colors, lines on the face, big hair. Shiny boots, or no boots. 

-trenchcoat flashing, wearing different things under a flasher's big long coat. Even bra and panties that look like boobies and a set of genitals. There are multiple different things we can do with this. 

-Tarot card themed shoot. Currently I'm working on some surreal and abstract-ish designs for tarot card representation. We'll see how this goes... 

-BDSM Themed: Actually topping someone, but the best shots are those of the Domme's face and movements, the sub is barely in the photo! From a voyeuristic perspective. Creative. Artful. Well planned and negotiated, an entire scene, focusing only on the top, the top's reactions, expressions, and form of dress. 

-Coffee anyone? How about a series of portraits involved in drinking or participating in one on one or small group photography at cafes. Trabant, Cafe Racer, Chaco Canyon, Java Jive, yes, even Starbucks.. we'll go to these different places over time, snap a few quick shots, maybe work on other ideas, chat, and see what other trouble we can get into with a camera and a model. 

-Juxtaposition - moving between extremes, mixing extremes. Contrast. Mixing and mingling, or seperating preffered elements in a piece, changing up gender roles, hot and cold much? Let's mix them! What does hot and cold look like together? What if we moved from one extreme and into another in a series of shots? 

-Long exposure play with lights, pendulums, light painting, movement. Always a staple for me! I love creating art this way and dancing like a dork in the dark. 

-Clown themes. Yes, clowns. I want to find a bodypainter to help me take on traits of the pueblo clown (I can't seem to find the actual name of this kind of person). I am not native american and sensitive to the needs of other cultures - but I would very much like to incorporate the elements of the pueblo clown in art. 
Other clown types I am willing to and interested in dressing up/performing as:
Auguste, Tramp, and perhaps whiteface. Whiteface clowns are generally the leader clowns. Auguste clowns, if I recall correctly like to meddle and play mischief. 
Heavy makeup isn't required, I can allude to the clown mask without doing up the whole bit. Using regular makeup, stage makeup, or body art crayons. 

-A portrait series: "The Spirits within me". Just portraits of a person (me) taking on different personas, characters, and expressions. What if you could channel or bring in any feeling, thought, or expression upon will? What if you could just automatically become, or embody the concept you are going for? Face, outfit, makeup would all match the persona or character I am taking on. I'll move and act, and even speak as that person. I will act my way through the series and hopefully we will come up with some great shots!
